“Stanley Corner” was located on the corner of US Hwy 81 and Hwy 16 (SD 42).

During the 1970’s “Stanley Corner” consisted of filling stations, tourist cabins, and a restaurant on the southeast corner.  Five miles west was Bridgewater.  

The filing station on the west side of 81 operated until the 1980’s, run by Mr. Tschetter.
